Fiqh (Basic Islamic Jurisprudence)


The aim of teaching Fiqh is:

  1. To bring about a basic awareness of the rules and regulations relating to:
    • Purity and personal hygiene (Tahaarah)
    • Rites and worship (Rules, practicals, supplications of Salaah etc)
    • Social related topics (e.g. marriage, divorce etc, years 10 and 11)
  2. The significance, virtues and importance of various forms of worship, with references to the Holy Qur’aan and Hadith.
